VIP Gala a success!

The Ancient Rome VIP Gala preview night saw over 130 guests, sponsors and volunteers treated to an exclusive preview of the exhibition, with performances by string quintet ‘Cumpas’, Roman themed food by Metro Bakery & Cafe as well as sumptuous wines by Caroline Hills Winery.

‘Ancient Rome: The Empire that Shaped the World’ features more thanĀ 200 exhibits including artefacts, catapults, frescoes, armour, weapons and busts painstakingly reconstructed from ancient roman records, and is now open to the public until November 10.

The City of Mount Gambier acknowledges the Boandik Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land and water our city sits upon today.

We respect and recognise the deep feelings of attachment and the spiritual relationship our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples have with the land and water.
